I have checked out Cuil as well. I think that it has some good ideas, but they are still hammering out their algorithms, and I have been unable to get accurate search results yet. Not to mention google has all of the exras added like conversions, math, translations, maps, directions, gmail, etc. While there may be another alternative for search results out there, I think that Cuil is not yet the answer (maybe someday), and as far as having all of the extra benefits, there is no competiton yet to Google sadly.

Also you may want to have a look at cuil.com. It's early days yet for them, but I've already heard them being referred to as the most likely contender to become the next Google.
